What the Electrical Work Involves
Air conditioner electrical installation involves: running a dedicated circuit (typically 15A or 20A) from the switchboard to the indoor unit location, installing the outdoor unit power supply and interconnect, fitting the required isolation switch adjacent to the outdoor unit, and connecting the indoor unit.
For multi-head split systems or ducted systems, the electrical requirements are more complex — higher current circuits, multiple runs, and sometimes a sub-board at the unit location. We scope these accurately at the assessment stage.
